What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, on your computer, tablet or smartphone. They let a website remember your preferences, for example.

Cookies we place ourselves

This website itself places one cookie: cc_cookie. It remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so we don’t have to ask you again on every visit. This cookie is necessary for the website to work and is kept for 6 months.

Statistics, only with your consent

We only use Google Analytics after you have given your consent in the cookie banner. Google Analytics then places the cookies _ga and _ga_… to record which pages are visited and for how long. This shows us what visitors are looking for, so we can improve the website.

These cookies are kept for up to 2 years. If you withdraw your consent, they are deleted.

Cookies from others

• Booking module (Beds24): the Book page loads the Beds24 booking module. Beds24 places cookies that are needed to make a booking. The module also loads fonts from Google Fonts.
• Map (OpenStreetMap): the homepage and the contact page show an OpenStreetMap map.
• Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): the contact form loads Cloudflare Turnstile once you start filling it in, to keep out spam.

These parties receive your IP address when their content loads. Which cookies they use exactly is described in their own privacy and cookie policies. You can read more about how we handle your data in our privacy policy.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; see your browser’s help section for how. If you block all cookies, the booking module may no longer work.
