Terms & house rules
This is how Fristerhof stays a pleasant place for everyone. Below you'll find the main house rules; you can download the full terms and conditions.
Arrival & departure
- Arrival from 15:00, departure no later than 11:00. Other times can be arranged.
- On arrival, check that everything is complete and undamaged, and report any damage or missing items within 24 hours.
- The lead booker shows a valid ID on arrival.
- On departure, leave the house swept clean, with the dishes clean in the cupboards and the furniture back in place.
Payment & cancellation
- After the booking confirmation you pay a down payment of 30% of the rental price.
- You pay the full amount no later than 6 weeks before arrival. If you book later, you pay the full amount straight away.
- If you cancel, the amount you have already paid is not refunded. Always confirm a cancellation in writing or by email.
In and around the house
- No more people stay overnight than stated in the booking confirmation. Please tell us about extra guests in advance.
- Smoking is not allowed indoors. It is allowed in the garden and on the terrace; clear away your cigarette ends.
- Pets are only welcome with permission. For a dog you pay a one-off €50.
- The locked cellar, the barn and the owner's grounds are not accessible to guests.
- Always lock the house when you go out, even for a short time.
Garden, pool & fire pit
- The swimming pool is open from June, weather permitting.
- Without a swimming certificate, swim only with a life jacket and under the supervision of an adult.
- The play equipment (swings and trampoline) is for children only.
- The fire pit only with permission and for a small fire. Bring your own firewood; using wood from the yard is not allowed.
Deposit & usage
- You pay a security deposit of €200. We refund it within 14 days after your stay, minus any damage.
- Normal use of water, electricity and heating is included. In case of excessive use, we charge the costs.
